Graz medical tourism company partners with premium dental clinic in Zagreb

Graz/Zagreb, October 2026. Graz-based GO Medics is expanding its international partner network and launching a partnership with the Dental Esthetic Center in Zagreb. Located in the historic centre of the Croatian capital, the dental clinic is led by Dr. med. dent. Alenko Dunđer and specialises in aesthetic and functional dentistry, implantology and high-quality prosthetic restorations.

With this partnership, GO Medics is targeting patients from Austria, Germany and Switzerland in particular who, when seeking treatment abroad, value individual care and high medical and aesthetic standards.

“We are not simply looking for clinics that offer treatments at attractive prices. Our aim is to find partners for our patients where medical quality, experience and personal care go hand in hand,” says Ewald Felbar, Managing Director of GO Medics.

Individual dentistry in the heart of Zagreb

The Dental Esthetic Center is located at Nova Ves 7, right in Zagreb’s historic centre and just a few minutes’ walk from Zagreb Cathedral. The clinic works by appointment only and places particular emphasis on individual planning and care for its patients.

Its range of treatments includes aesthetic dentistry, implantology, prosthodontics, functional diagnostics and oral rehabilitation.

“We don’t want to treat patients according to a standardised scheme. In complex cases especially, it is important to analyse each patient’s individual wishes and functional conditions precisely and to develop a treatment concept on that basis,” explains Dr. Alenko Dunđer.

Dunđer has more than three decades of experience in dentistry. He studied at the University of Zagreb and completed further training in Germany and Switzerland, among other countries. Since 2018 he has headed the clinical team of the Dental Esthetic Center. His areas of focus include aesthetic dentistry, high-quality prosthodontics, oral rehabilitation and functional diagnostics of the masticatory system and the temporomandibular joint.

Dr. Antonio Leko also works at the Dental Esthetic Center, complementing the clinic’s professional team.

A focus on international patients

A distinctive feature of the partnership is the combination of medical treatment and personal travel organisation.

Patients travelling to Zagreb from Austria or Germany for treatment are looked after by GO Medics even before their trip. This includes coordinating treatment appointments and organising travel. The Dental Esthetic Center also helps international patients find suitable accommodation if required.

“For patients who travel abroad for treatment, the medical service is only one part of the overall experience. They want to know what to expect, where they can stay and who will be there for them if they have questions,” says Felbar.

This is intended to reduce the organisational effort for patients, especially in the case of more extensive dental treatments requiring several appointments.

Quality rather than price alone

In recent years, Croatia has become a major destination for international dental tourism. For GO Medics, however, the partnership with the Dental Esthetic Center is not meant to be seen merely as a cheaper alternative to dental treatment in Austria or Germany.

“Price can be a reason to consider treatment abroad. But for the final decision, other factors should be at least as important: trust, experience, treatment planning, quality of materials and care before and after the procedure,” says Felbar.

With its concept focused on individual treatment, the Dental Esthetic Center is therefore a good fit for GO Medics’ strategic direction, he says.

“International patients today expect more than good treatment. They expect clarity, reliability and care that also takes the organisational aspects into account,” adds Dunđer.

A new building block in the GO Medics network

With the Dental Esthetic Center, GO Medics is further expanding its network of selected partner clinics in Croatia and Slovenia. Alongside dentistry, the company is now also active in ophthalmology, aesthetic medicine and hair transplantation.

For patients from German-speaking countries, the new partnership is intended to create further access to high-quality dentistry in Zagreb – combined with personal support from GO Medics and help with organising their stay.

“Our goal is not the largest possible number of partner clinics, but a network we can personally stand behind,” says Felbar. “That is exactly why the Dental Esthetic Center is such an interesting addition for us.”
