What is included in the written total price?

Patients should explicitly ask about the examination, scan, both jaws, check-ups, additional aligners, retainers and possible follow-up costs. The fact that a retainer is important after completion does not automatically mean that it is included in the package price.

How often do I need to visit the clinic in person, and are digital check-ups possible?

Regular professional check-ups remain important; some practices additionally offer remote monitoring. For patients from the DACH region, the travel and check-up schedule should be settled before treatment begins

Discreet: The transparent aligners are usually less noticeable than conventional fixed metal braces.
Eating without aligners: The aligners are removed for meals, so there are not the same restrictions as with fixed brackets.
Easier oral hygiene: The aligners can be removed for brushing your teeth and cleaning between them. This makes your usual oral care easier compared with a fixed appliance.
Individual planning: A scan or impression and an examination of your bite form the basis for step-by-step planned tooth movement.
More comfortable for some patients: As no fixed metal brackets and wires are used, some patients find the aligners more comfortable. A feeling of pressure when switching to a new aligner is nevertheless possible.

The key to success: Aligners usually have to be worn for 20–22 hours a day to be effective. They are not suitable for every complex dental or jaw misalignment; after completion, a retainer is usually needed to keep the teeth in their new position. For Invisalign treatment abroad, it should also be clarified in advance how regular check-ups and possible adjustments will be organised.
