Invisalign / removable dental braces in Croatia

Everyday advantages

  • Discreet: The transparent aligners are usually less noticeable than conventional fixed metal braces.
  • Eating without aligners: The aligners are removed for meals, so there are not the same restrictions as with fixed brackets.
  • Easier oral hygiene: The aligners can be removed for brushing your teeth and cleaning between them. This makes your usual oral care easier compared with a fixed appliance.
  • Individual planning: A scan or impression and an examination of your bite form the basis for step-by-step planned tooth movement.
  • More comfortable for some patients: As no fixed metal brackets and wires are used, some patients find the aligners more comfortable. A feeling of pressure when switching to a new aligner is nevertheless possible.

The key to success: Aligners usually have to be worn for 20–22 hours a day to be effective. They are not suitable for every complex dental or jaw misalignment; after completion, a retainer is usually needed to keep the teeth in their new position. For Invisalign treatment abroad, it should also be clarified in advance how regular check-ups and possible adjustments will be organised.

Our partner clinics offer Invisalign aligners from DENTUM in Zagreb.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many days should I plan for treatment in Split?+

This depends on the procedure. A crown can often be completed faster than an extensive implant treatment. With implants, multiple appointments and a healing phase may be necessary. Burow Clinic can create an individual schedule for you before your trip.

How do I organize my arrival and accommodation?+

Ask the clinic directly, as it will help you with transfers between the airport and support you in finding accommodation.

Is German spoken at the clinic?+

YES! Yes, the clinic caters to patients from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Dr. Helge Burow is from Germany, his wife Maja speaks excellent German, and another staff member also speaks perfect German!

How much does a dental treatment at Clinic Burow cost?+

Costs depend on the type and extent of treatment. After an examination and, if necessary, X-rays or 3D imaging, the clinic will create an individual treatment plan with a cost estimate. Patients from abroad who already have X-rays can send them and will receive a cost estimate from the clinic.

Where is the dental clinic located?+

Burow Dental Clinic is located at Vukovarska 35d in Split in a new and modern building on the first floor. Reserved parking spaces in the garage are available for patients upon registration. Otherwise, there is a nearby public car park directly across the street.
