About the treatment
Treatment options, goals and potential benefits
Intimate surgery encompasses surgical and partially minimally invasive procedures in the genital area of women and men. It pursues different goals: correction of anatomical variations, improvement of comfort and function, restoration following illness or injury, and – depending on the procedure – aesthetic changes.
1. Intimate surgery for women
Reduction of the inner labia (labiaplasty) - from approx. €1,200
What is done?
Excess tissue of the small labia (labia minora) is surgically reduced and reshaped. The goal is a shape that matches individual anatomy, without removing unnecessary tissue.
Possible benefits
- Less friction and pulling during sports, cycling or when wearing tight clothing.
- Relief from discomfort if tissue is pinched or causes pain during intercourse.
- Improved intimate hygiene in cases of corresponding anatomical findings.
- Opportunity to change a shape or asymmetry that is perceived as bothersome.
Important: The size and shape of the inner labia naturally vary greatly. Surgery is not necessary based solely on a particular size. Potential risks include scars, bleeding, infections, asymmetries and changes in sensation.
Autologous fat transfer to the outer labia - from €1,200 for the first treatment phase
What is done?
The patient's own fat tissue is extracted from a suitable area of the body, processed and transferred to the large labia (labia majora). This can partially restore lost volume, for example after weight loss or age-related changes.
Possible benefits
- More volume and a rounder contour.
- Improved tissue fullness in cases of age-related or weight-related volume loss.
- Use of the patient's own material instead of a synthetic implant.
- Potentially natural-looking results.
Important: Some of the transferred fat is reabsorbed. The result is therefore not completely predictable; further treatment may be required. Risks include infections, asymmetries, fat hardening and irregularities.
Clitoral hood correction and vestibular reconstruction - from €1,600
What is done?
This refers to surgical correction of tissue in the clitoral hood area combined with reconstruction of the vestibule. The precise technique and scope must be determined by a physician.
Possible benefits
- Correction of selected anatomical variations or bothersome tissue excess.
- Improvement of the shape and contour of the external intimate area.
- In cases of appropriate medical indication, possible relief of local discomfort.
Particularly important: The clitoris itself is a highly sensitive organ. This procedure must not be confused with removal of the clitoris.
2. Intimate surgery for men
Penis enlargement - from €3,500
What is done?
In this method, the suspensory ligament of the penis (ligamentum suspensorium) is surgically divided. This allows a larger portion of the penile shaft that already lies within the body to become externally visible.
Possible benefits
- The penis can appear longer in the flaccid state.
- For carefully selected patients with pronounced concerns about size, it can be an option.
- The clinic describes an incision in the hair-bearing area at the base of the penis.
Limitations and risks: No new penile shaft is created. Significant lengthening in the erect state is not guaranteed. Possible risks include scarring, infection, changes in the angle of erection, and instability during sexual intercourse. The result depends on anatomy and aftercare.
Penis thickening with autologous fat - from €1,200 for one treatment session
What is done?
The patient's own fat is extracted and injected into the penile shaft tissue to increase its girth.
Possible benefits
- Increase in penile girth.
- Use of the body's own tissue.
- Individually adjustable volume change.
Limitations and risks: Part of the fat is reabsorbed by the body. The result can be uneven and may require further treatment. Risks include nodule formation, asymmetries, infections, and tissue changes. The price of €1,200 refers to one session, not necessarily to the final overall result.
Testicular prosthesis - from €4,000
What is done?
An artificial testicular prosthesis is inserted into the scrotum when a testicle is missing, was not formed, or had to be removed due to disease, torsion, or injury, for example.
Possible benefits
- Restoration of visible volume in the scrotum.
- Reduction of noticeable side asymmetry.
- Potential improvement in body image after loss of a testicle.
Important: The prosthesis neither produces testosterone nor sperm and does not restore fertility. It replaces the external shape, not the function of the testicle. Risks include infection, displacement, a hardened feel, and possibly the need for removal.
Surgery for penile curvature - from €4,000
What is done?
Surgical correction may be considered for pronounced or troublesome penile curvature, for example if sexual intercourse is difficult or painful. The appropriate surgery depends on the cause, extent, and stability of the curvature. In acquired curvature, Induratio penis plastica (Peyronie's disease) may be the underlying cause.
Possible benefits
- Straightening of the penis or reduction of curvature.
- Ease of sexual intercourse if the curvature is functionally impaired.
- Reduction of mechanical discomfort in selected patients.
Important: Not every curvature needs to be surgically corrected. Depending on the method, shortening, palpable nodules, changes in sensation, or erectile problems may occur. Before surgery, the clinic should explain the exact technique, expected results, and the risk of length loss.
Benefits of intimate surgery at one of our partner clinics
- Functional benefits: less friction, pain, or mechanical impairment when these are actually caused by anatomy.
- Reconstructive benefits: Restoration of volume or external contour after tissue loss, disease, or injury.
- Aesthetic benefits: Change of shape, symmetry, or girth according to individual wishes.
Please note that results cannot be promised and are not medically guaranteed. Particularly for penis enlargement and procedures on the clitoral hood, the limitations of the method, possible changes in sensitivity, and realistic expectations must be discussed in detail with GO Medics' partner clinic.
